1. Estimate requests

An online request is a request for an estimate visit window. It becomes a confirmed appointment only after we confirm it by phone, text or email.

Arrival windows are estimates. Traffic, weather and job-site conditions can cause delays; we will contact you if we are running late.

2. Estimates and contracts

Prices discussed before we see the job are rough ranges only. Work begins only after you approve a written estimate or contract that states the scope, price and payment terms.

If we find hidden conditions (for example rot, old wiring or damaged framing) we will show you and agree on any change in writing before continuing.

3. Permits

Where your town requires a building, plumbing or other permit, the permit and inspections are part of the written scope. Schedules depend in part on the town's review times.

4. Cancellations

You can cancel an estimate visit online using the link in your confirmation, or by calling us. Please give as much notice as possible.

5. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties apply to materials and products under their terms. Any workmanship warranty we offer will be stated in writing in your contract.

6. Liability

To the extent allowed by Maine law, our liability for any claim related to the website is limited to direct damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law, including Maine's home construction contract law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
